Performing Space is a short text exploring the resonances between performativity, improvisation, and consciousness—how space, movement, and sound shape and are shaped by live artistic processes. Written as a reflection on the fragile, momentary nature of performance, it considers how presence emerges through the interaction between bodies and environments. The piece was published in Perspectives on Consciousness (MIT Press, 2025).
