two waves, drawn on paper
Being part of a place — a visitor, another presence in the field of infinite occurrences — completely unimportant to the surrounding instances: a bridge, a cloud, a plastic chair, grass, microphone stands, a stack of stones, Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, a train, some insects, a body of water.
Being in place — absorbing it in the bodies, listening to its reflections unfold, taking part in its cycle, being played by it.
Being(s) together in a place, sounding unseen relations. I couldn’t think of better partners to share these unfolding present(s) near the banks of the Tama river.
This composition is dedicated to Takashi, Wakana and Yoko.

Alex Tripp writes: A sequence of notes that sit distinct as islands, their distance testing the limits of the term 'archipelago', situated in an ocean of the world's activity.
